Our schedule is meant to give an idea of our day. Actual times and activities may vary depending on the time of the year, weather, age and temperament of the children. Age appropriate activities are scheduled with the flexibility allowed to respond to the needs of each individual child and their various ages.
For infants, we practice on reaching, grasping, rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, climbing, throwing, catching, kicking, cooing and talking; whichever developmental stage your child happens to be in at the time.
Toddler learning focuses on the world around them; they're known to try out new skills and explore by using their imagination. Our curriculum supports cognitive development to enhance their growth. Your child will participate in art, writing, singing/dancing, and basic learning curriculum such as ABCs, numbers 1 to 20, shapes and colors.
As a childcare director, establishing a daily routine is crucial for maintaining order, staff retention,
and provides a sense of security to children. Children feel more secure and confident when they know what to expect throughout the day, which helps them feel safe and reduces stress anxiety
and behavioral issues.
Parents can better plan their own day-to-day family time and decide if our routine is the perfect balance between structure and learning for their child.
Our care environment includes a transition room and a separate classroom to provide a designated space for activities that can be disruptive in a combined learning environment, such as art or writing activities, nap time, and transition periods.
This separation helps create a more structured and predictable environment that promotes positive behavior and reduces distractions, ultimately contributing to a calmer and more focused learning atmosphere.

Nap Time:
Our typical morning routine includes arrival, free play, breakfast, and morning activities like circle time and outdoor play. It often includes a combination of structured and unstructured activities to balance learning and play.
The mid-morning schedule often includes learning centers, a morning snack, arts & crafts, and music & movement. While staff prep for lunch, nap time, and perform routine diaper changing, children will participate in screen time, block play or modular building. Additionally, our drop-off policy includes a cut-off time to minimize any disruption to our schedule.
In the afternoon we have our rest time, activity centers, group time, afternoon snack, outdoor play, and pick-up. Our daily routine is designed to balance learning, play, and rest, to reduce irritability and expand learning retention.
